FSAE Steering rack mount

Collaborated with designers to make their parts DFMA and programmed the CAM to make the steering rack clamping mounts for our FSAE electric car. Machined the parts and validated that the tolerances would fit the steering rack with minimal compliance. These parts improved on a previous design by clamping the rack as the screws are tightened. The previous design used waterjet parts that loosely held the rack in place instead of clamping which introduced unnecessary compliance.
